Shipping, Refunds & Returns Policy
1. Shipping Policy
Magic Bikinis is based in South Africa and ships both locally and internationally using trusted courier services such as FedEx, DHL, and Aramex.
Ready-made items are usually dispatched within 2–5 business days after payment is confirmed.
Quick-ship or stock items that require minor alterations may take up to 7 business days before dispatch.
Made-to-order bikinis may take up to 10 weeks to be completed, depending on the style selected.
Bespoke custom designs placed through our online order form may require 8–12 weeks for production and delivery. Please check individual product pages for accurate production timelines and order well in advance of your competition date.
Local pickup from our Durban studio is typically ready within 48 hours after confirmation of payment. If you selected EFT as your payment method, please wait for us to notify you before collecting your order.
2. International Orders & Customs
All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes (such as VAT), and customs handling fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in our product or shipping prices and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Customs policies vary from country to country, and we recommend checking your local import rules before placing an order. Magic Bikinis is not liable for delays or fees caused by customs processing or refusal to pay import charges.
3. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom-made nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on custom bikinis, posing trunks, or bespoke items once production has begun.
All order changes or queries must be submitted in writing via email before payment. Once a quote is approved and an invoice issued, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production. The remaining balance must be paid in full before dispatch.
After the deposit is paid, your order is confirmed and produced to your exact specifications. No exchanges, alterations, or cancellations will be accepted beyond this point. Minor changes may be accommodated at Magic Bikinis’ sole discretion, only if timing allows.
Sale items and discounted purchases are final and cannot be returned or refunded.
Magic Heels: For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, Magic Heels can only be returned or exchanged if they are unworn, unused, and in their original, clean condition with all packaging and tags intact. Any signs of wear, damage, or soiling will void eligibility for return or exchange. Please try them on only on a clean carpeted surface with clean feet to avoid marking the soles. All return requests for Magic Heels must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order and approved in writing.
If a defective product needs to be returned or exchanged outside of South Africa the charges could be up to $40 in shipping fees and re-stocking fees.
4. Care Instructions
Magic Bikinis is not responsible for damage caused by improper care after delivery. Please follow our care guidelines to preserve the look and durability of your suit:
- Hand-wash only in lukewarm water using mild liquid detergent such as Magic Bikini Wash.
- Do not machine wash or soak. Gently rinse and air dry away from sunlight.
- Be careful with crystal connectors and embellishments; treat them delicately.
- For tough stains, gently scrub the inner lining with an old toothbrush. Magic Tan stains less than other tanning products.

5. Payment Methods & Currencies
Magic Bikinis accepts the following payment methods:
- Visa & MasterCard
- PayPal (international orders)
- Direct Bank Transfer / EFT (South African customers only)
All South African transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR). For international orders, transactions are processed in United States Dollars (US$)
