At Magic Bikinis, we create custom-designed competition bikinis, stagewear, men’s physique boardshorts, posing trunks, stage heels, and athlete apparel for competitors around the world. Please read our Shipping, Refunds & Returns Policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Shipping Policy

Magic Bikinis is based in Durban, South Africa and ships both locally and internationally using trusted courier services such as FedEx, Courier Guy, Pudo, and other approved courier partners.

Shipping timelines depend on the product ordered, whether the item is ready-made or custom-made, the production time required, the customer’s location, courier processing, customs processing, and payment clearance.

Estimated dispatch and production timelines:

• Ready-made items: Usually dispatched within 2–5 business days after payment has cleared.
• Quick-ship or stock items requiring minor alterations: May take up to 7 business days before dispatch.
• Made-to-order bikinis: May take up to 10 weeks to complete, depending on the selected style, order volume, design details, embellishment, and production schedule.
• Bespoke custom designs placed through our online order form: May require approximately 8–12 weeks for production and delivery.
• Custom IFBB boardshorts and men’s physique boardshorts: Production and dispatch timelines may vary depending on the order volume, selected size, custom hem measurement, and finishing requirements.

Please check individual product pages for the most accurate production timelines and order well in advance of your competition date. Production and delivery estimates are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by Magic Bikinis.

Magic Bikinis is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery details, delayed customer responses, payment delays, courier delays, customs delays, public holidays, high seasonal demand, or events outside our control.

Local pickup: Local pickup from our Durban studio is typically ready within 48 hours for eligible ready-made items after confirmation of payment. If you selected EFT or manual bank transfer, please wait for written confirmation from Magic Bikinis before collecting your order.

2. International Orders & Customs

Magic Bikinis ships internationally from South Africa. International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes, customs clearance charges, courier handling fees, brokerage fees, or administrative fees imposed by the destination country or courier service.

These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Customs policies vary from country to country, and we recommend checking your local import regulations before placing an order. Magic Bikinis has no control over customs charges, customs inspections, customs delays, or clearance decisions made by the destination country.

Refusal to pay import duties, customs fees, VAT, taxes, or courier clearance charges does not qualify for a refund. If an order is returned to Magic Bikinis due to unpaid customs fees, failed delivery, refusal of delivery, or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer, any refund or re-shipping arrangement will be assessed at Magic Bikinis’ sole discretion and may exclude shipping fees, production costs, customisation costs, and any return courier charges.

3. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the custom-made, made-to-measure, and personalised nature of many Magic Bikinis products, all sales are final on custom-made, made-to-order, personalised, altered, embellished, printed, or made-to-measure items.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds on custom bikinis, posing trunks, custom boardshorts, bespoke stagewear, printed items, embellished items, altered garments, or any item made according to the customer’s selected size, measurements, design choices, or order specifications once production has begun.

Magic Bikinis is not responsible for incorrect size selections, inaccurate measurements, customer measurement errors, incorrect order details, change of mind, category changes, competition date changes, show cancellations, or customer preference changes after an order has been confirmed.

Ready-made items: Ready-made items may be eligible for exchange within 7 days of receipt, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, unused, unaltered, free from marks, odours, makeup, tan, deodorant, pet hair, or damage, and returned in its original condition and packaging. All exchange requests must be approved in writing before the item is returned.

All shipping fees for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer unless Magic Bikinis confirms in writing that the item was defective or incorrectly supplied.

Sale items and discounted purchases: Sale items, clearance items, discounted items, promotional purchases, and final-sale products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

4. Custom IFBB Boardshorts & Men’s Physique Boardshorts

Magic Bikinis IFBB boardshorts and men’s physique boardshorts are custom tailored for stage presentation. Each pair is cut and hemmed according to the customer’s supplied hip-to-top-of-knee measurement, with the hem set just above the knee for a polished stage fit.

Please choose your waist size carefully and provide an accurate hip-to-top-of-knee measurement when placing your order. These boardshorts are not standard off-the-shelf retail sizing and should not be treated like mass-retail commercial sizes.

Once boardshorts have been cut, hemmed, altered, or customised according to your supplied measurements, they cannot be returned, exchanged, resized, or replaced due to incorrect waist size selection, inaccurate measurements, or customer error.

To ensure the best fit, measure from your hip bone to the top of your knee using a tape measure or string and select your waist size according to your actual measurements before completing checkout.

5. Order Changes, Deposits & Cancellations

All order changes, design queries, measurement updates, or special requests must be submitted in writing as early as possible. Changes are not guaranteed and may only be accepted at Magic Bikinis’ discretion, depending on the production stage and whether materials have already been ordered, cut, printed, embellished, or altered.

For custom quoted orders, once a quote is approved and an invoice is issued, a 50% non-refundable deposit may be required to begin production. The remaining balance must be paid in full before dispatch or collection.

After a deposit is paid or full payment is received, your order is confirmed and may begin production according to your specifications. No cancellations, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted once production has begun. Minor changes may be accommodated at Magic Bikinis’ sole discretion only if timing and production status allow.

6. Magic Heels Returns & Exchanges

For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, Magic Heels can only be returned or exchanged if they are unworn, unused, clean, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all tags and protective materials intact.

Please try Magic Heels on only on a clean, carpeted surface with clean feet to avoid marking the soles. Any signs of wear, scuffing, soiling, odour, damage, or use will make the heels ineligible for return or exchange.

All return or exchange requests for Magic Heels must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order and approved in writing before the item is returned.

7. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you believe you have received a defective or incorrect item, please contact Magic Bikinis in writing within 48 hours of receiving your order. Clear photos, your order number, and a detailed description of the issue must be provided for review.

Items must not be worn, used, washed, altered, damaged, or modified after receipt. Magic Bikinis reserves the right to inspect the item before approving any repair, replacement, exchange, or refund.

Small variations in handmade, custom-made, embellished, printed, or made-to-measure products are not automatically considered defects. This includes minor differences in colour, print placement, crystal placement, fabric finish, embellishment layout, or fit variation resulting from customer-supplied measurements.

If a defective product needs to be returned or exchanged from outside South Africa, return shipping and re-shipping costs may apply unless otherwise agreed in writing by Magic Bikinis.

8. Care Instructions

Magic Bikinis is not responsible for damage caused by improper care, washing, storage, handling, tanning products, adhesives, oils, makeup, stage products, or misuse after delivery. Please follow our care guidelines to preserve the look and durability of your suit or garment:

• Hand-wash only in lukewarm water using a mild liquid detergent, such as Magic Bikini Wash.
• Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach, iron, dry clean, or soak.
• Gently rinse and air dry away from direct sunlight.
• Handle crystal connectors, rhinestones, embellishments, chains, and delicate trims with care.
• Avoid harsh rubbing, twisting, wringing, or pulling on embellished areas.
• For tough stains, gently scrub the inner lining with an old toothbrush.
• Take extra care when using tanning products, oils, adhesives, or makeup near your suit.

9. Payment Methods & Currencies

Magic Bikinis accepts the following payment methods, where available:

South African transactions may be processed in South African Rand (ZAR). International transactions may be processed in United States Dollars (USD) or another available currency depending on your location, checkout settings, payment provider, or selected payment method.

Currency conversions, bank charges, payment provider fees, exchange rate differences, and international transaction fees are determined by the relevant bank or payment provider and are not controlled by Magic Bikinis.

For Payflex or other “buy now, pay later” options, approval, instalments, payment terms, declined payments, late fees, and account management are handled by the relevant third-party payment provider.
